If You’re a Smart Writer You’ll Start a Newsletter

This goes beyond the latest writing fad

I got fed up with relying on algorithms to share my writing.

So, like a lot of other writers, I started a newsletter.

Turns out, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. That’s why I’m big on encouraging anyone who takes their writing seriously to start one.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “But I’m already writing online! Why do I need a newsletter, too?”

Trust me, I get it. But hear me out, because a newsletter can can for your content creation journey.

Building a Loyal Audience

When someone signs up for your newsletter, they’re not just casually browsing your content. They’re raising their hand and saying, “Hey, I like what you’re putting out there, and I want more of it!”

They’re giving you direct access to their inbox, which is a sacred space. It’s like being invited into their home for a cup of coffee and a chat.

Having a loyal audience means you’ve got a group of people who are excited to hear from you, trust you, and are more likely to engage with your content. They’re your ride-or-die fans, the ones who will share your work, leave comments, and keep coming…
